Lynne Pittard discovered her talent for painting only after she'd raised three kids and was looking for a fun hobby to pick up as she neared retirement. Within only one year, Pittard showed such a knack for painting that she was asked by local schools to become a teacher. By the mid-eighties, Pittard was teaching a host of classes at both high school and colleges levels, as well as at several local art leagues in Miami, Florida. She went on to even air her own program with her Visual Arts Network airing on PBS, and enjoys a wide fanbase of students and collectors.
