Lena Moross was born in St.Petersburg, Russia and studied at the State Academy of Art. After emigrating to America, Lena studied at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design before earning her master's at California Institute of the Arts (Cal-Arts). Her use of vibrant colors and bold strokes are evidence of her being a student of Jonathan Borofsky and John Baldessari.
