K.C. Woolf

Growing up in Santa Cruz, California, K.C. Woolf had always been interested in art. Never living in a place for longer than a few months gave the young Woolf many experiences from which to draw artistic inspiration. Eventually, his family settled down in Ashland, Oregon, and at age 14, he helped rehabilitate exotic animals with his father. Soon after, Woolf worked as a self-employed graphic artist and photographer and won several art contests.

Woolf moved to California to follow a dream of being an actor. After some success, Woolf realized that he was not able to fully express himself through acting, so he turned to painting in 2002. Now, when he describes his work, Woolf says, “Art is a medium that opens the door into the unknown, and provides a platform in which one can explore, indulge and grow. Art provides the stage for the experience, and is infinite in its possibility.”
