Juan Carlos Arango

Juan Carlos Arango was born in Cartagena, Columbia. He paints primarily using watercolors, and his imagery often reflects the simple beauties and memories of his childhood. Arango was never formally taught but he practiced often and quickly honed his natural talents.

“I want my country to be known and remembered for its simple beauties and customs-everything changes and the people of my country now live better than ever but in my heart and my art the day still revolves around a farmer, a horse, and a cart.”
