Jorge Urdiales was born in Cajamarca, Peru in 1953. He is married and has a child. Jorge studied Civil Engineering in addition to his degree in Architecture studies at the University of Cajamarca. He later went to the School of Arts in Lima where he studied his true passion, painting. Jorge further expanded his breadth of knowledge with Restoration studies at the School of Arts in Cuzco. He is a well regarded artist and he has exhibited widely in his own one man shows.
