Jan Sklenar was born in Czechoslovakia in 1931. He came from the Provence of Bratislava. Son of a well known portrait artist, Sklenar naturally developed great interest in painting at an early age. Skelnar was most prolific during the 1970s and his work can be seen in many private collections around the world.
