German artist H. Ehrmann was in Germany in the early nineteen thirties. Demonstrating a natural affinity and skill with a paint brush at an early age, Ehrmann was first trained in the arts by his teachers at art schools in both Munich and Nuremberg. Later, he joined with five other Germanic landscape painters to form an artist studio and symposium. While each studio participant had his own respective strengths, Ehrmann’s specialty was his representation of Germany’s mountain timberlines.
