Donna Geissler attended Indiana University and earned her BA in journalism. While in her last semester she took an introductory course in black-and-white photography. This class introduced her to something that would turn out to be a life long passion. Geissler spent more than 10 years photographing as a pastime. “My goal in every series is to capture the beauty, shape, gesture, lighting or whatever it may be that I find so interesting about a particular flower at that particular moment.” Says Donna.
