Dona Gelsinger

Inspirational Artist Dona Gelsinger has loved art since she could just barely pick up a pencil as a toddler growing up in California. She received her formal training as an Art major, earning her Bachelor's degree from the California State University system. The talented young artist got her first big break with a commission to paint the Stations of the Cross for the St. Dennis Church of Diamond Bar, California, a project comprised of 14 near-life sized portraits that took over two years to complete, and garnered her much attention and praise.

In the early 1990's, Gelsinger began to work with Thomas Kinkade's publisher, Lightpost Publishing, which exposed her wonderful art to a much wider audience, and she went on to create her collection of "Heaven's Little Angels" - a series of images that has made Dona Gelsinger's art some of the most widely collected, easily recognizable art in the world. Breast Cancer Awareness, The Make a Wish Foundation, Kleenex and Chicken Soup for the Soul are just some of the foundations and brand names Gelsinger's artwork is associated with, and she continues to create her Inspirational Art in many media forms, from canvas and tapestries to greeting cards and gift boxes.
