Born in Czechoslovakia, Antonin Dimitrov arrived in Canada in 1968, receiving his citizenship shortly thereafter. Educated at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague, Dimitrov has been a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of the Arts since 1975, and his work has been shown both locally and internationally.
