Carol Day was born in October of 1952 in the U.K. in Harrow, Middlesex. Carol trained in hairdressing and beauty at the world renowned London College of Fashion which introduced her to some small level of art training. She later went on to work as a makeup artist at the BBC TV Centre for several years. It was whilst she was raising a young family that Carol began painting seriously. Although she covered some technical basics in Fashion school, she is largely an extraordinarily gifted self taught artist.
