Andre Saraiva is commonly known by his graffiti-artist alter ego Mr. Andre and for his concept "Love Graffiti." Andre is unlike many of the graffiti artists over the last 20 years who have evolved from making anonymous street art to becoming famous gallery artists.

Instead of following in the footsteps of artists such as Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf and KAWS, Andre avoided the galleries, and instead introduced his imagery into clubs or night spots. In doing so, these hot spots helped to promote his work all over the world. In doing so he has proactively changed the nightlife of cities such as Paris, New York and Tokyo.

His work has been featured in museums such as the MoCA as in feature films such as Exit Through the Gift Shop. As an entrepreneur, he owns restaurants, nightclubs such as Le Baron, and hotel chains such as Hotel Amour.
