Trillo, a self-taught painter, was born in Alcoy, Spain in 1952. His rich, dramatic and skilled technique of painting is probably an outgrowth of his long career in textile design. At the present time, he solely dedicates himself to painting, which is resulting in a style that has great depth and expression.

Trillo has exhibited in many individual as well as collective exhibitions throughout Spain. In addition, he has received the "Mencion Honorifical Artistica de la Escuela de Bellas Artes" in Alcoy. He was also selected together with two other artists as the artists for the representation of the Valencian Community for the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia.
