Born in California in 1969, Jeromy Burnitz is known for his career as a right field in Major League Baseball. After playing collegiate ball at Oklahoma State University, Burnitz made his MLB debut in 1993 with the New York Mets. Before his retirement in 2006, he had also played with the Cleveland Indiands, the Milwaukee Brewers (with whom he was playing when he earned his All-Star selection in 1999), the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Colorado Rockies, the Chicago Cubs, and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
