Born in Georgia in 1965, Vincent Brown made a name for himself as a linebacker in the National Football League. After attending Mississippi Valley State University, Brown was selected by the New England Patriots in the 1988 NFL draft. He played with the team for the entirety of his career, earning the nickname “The Undertaker” for his no-nonsense plays on the field. Before retiring from playing professional football in 1995, Brown was selected to the All-Pro three consecutive times. He has also been named to the Patriot’s All-1990s Team.
