This is an original oil painting on stretched canvas by Manuel Munoz Merida (1920-2010), hand signed by the artist. Includes Certificate of Authenticity. Measures approx. 24" x 36" (image). Due to the age of this piece and the way it was stored, there are minor sings of wear, particularly on the corners and edges.

Manuel Munoz Merida (1920–2010) was born in Spain and is the father of noted artist Manuel Merida Ruiz. Manuel born in 1920 in the city of Cordoba and grew up in Granada, Spain. He traveled the world and painted in Spain, Italy, France, South America and Canada. He taught many of the great artists of his time and was known as Dr. M. M. Merida. He sold a number of original paintings private collectors and museums throughout the world. Many of his paintings have sold for over 50,000 euros, including one that was a picture of La Concha in Marbella for 40,000 pounds. This is reputed to have been sold to Sean Connery who was a resident of the village part time. He established and operated a museum and gallery dedicated to his works until his death.
