Amleto dalla Costa was born in 1929 in Milan, Italy. Dalla Costa worked with numerous artistic mediums ranging from photography to art. The subjects dalla Costa generally chooses for his paintings are women. He has his female subjects surrounded and enveloped by the color and design of the background. His work are always deeply personal, they are enigmatic, their anatomy surrenders to their built-in dimensions, and they are smooth, heartfelt, mysterious and sensual. This depiction of the female form is in the end shown in the expressions of his paintings. Dalla Costa, a true painter with a northern Italy style pallete, paints his women on canvas. His paintings are in high demand by collectors and sell out every year. All of dalla Costa's originals, serigraphs and signed editions are truly collectable.
