Born in 1970, and a native of Shiraz, Iran, Helen Zarin has been an artist her entire life. Zarin’s earliest memories are of painting, which is why at the young age of five she studied art at a private school. She continued studying through high school, at which point she began training with the renowned Persian artist Saber, concurrent with her enrollment at the Art and Culture Society. Moving to the United States in 1993 catapulted Zarin’s career as an artist to a new level.

Mystical and curious, Zarin’s art in both oils and pastels lends the viewer a mixed sense of serenity and energy. Her talent for this juxtaposition is part of what makes Zarin’s art the sensation that it is. Zarin continues to exhibit her art across the country.
