Born in Campania in 1955, the son of a painter, Amalfitani learned to use a color brush before he could write. He attended the Fine Art Academy and took several courses on various techniques in painting. Like his father, Amalfitani's choice medium is oil paint because it is more mellow and suites his passionate temper. Amalfitani paints wonderful landscapes and the colors of his palette reflect the area in which he lives. His works are highly sought after by both galleries and private collectors. Almalfitani has taken part in numerous artistic-cultural events, one-man and collective shows in which he has received positive reactions from all those in attendance.
