Born in 1968 in Lima, Peru, Ingrid Alvarez has shown a clear artistic disposition from a very young age. After studying art for more than six years at the prestigious Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes in Peru, Alvarez graduated with top honors and was almost immediately courted by many prominent art dealers in the area. Despite the relatively short career, Ingrid’s work has been exhibited in the Alianza Francesa, the American-Peruvian Cultural Institute, Museo de la Nacion, the American Embassy, the Russian-Peruvian Cultural Institute and Lima’s City Hall.
