  Adams, Hermon
Hermon Adams was born in Raymond, Mississippi, on September 14, 1945, and at a very young age he was driven by his artistic talents and creative endeavors. Inspired by the cattle farms, ranches, and landscapes around him, Adams sold his first painting at only 15 years old. He earned a BFA in Advertising Design from the University of Southern Mississippi and spent six years working as a commercial artist before he decide to pursue his passion for painting full time in 1977. Since then, he has been commissioned for artwork around the country, has his own publishing company, Second Emerald, and has a contract with the Franklin Mint for the Western Heritage Series. Adams, with his penchant for Western landscapes, wildlife, Native American subjects, and horses, is one of the Franklin Mint’s best-selling artists.

Using a blend of the romantic and the realistic, Adams believes that “the important things in a painting are beauty, light, depth, and meaning.” He continues to collect national and international recognition and his original paintings and limited edition prints can be found in private and corporate collections worldwide.
